Cosmic Sand “Sombra” EP

Cosmic Sand’s “Sombra” is the 3rd EP of the Portuguese producer and his best up to date work. Cosmic Sand sounds more mature than ever in this new EP, not only production-wise but also in terms of inspiration and composing. Great string sections and dreamy melodies, which is the trademark Cosmic Sand style & sound, create a dark setting which combined with A Girl & A Gun’s vocals/lyrics on “Dead” and an 80’s influenced twist, deliver one of the most original and inspired tracks of 2012, while “Sombra” is an instrumental orchestral atmospheric electro track that takes the listener into a dreamy electronic journey through beautifully structured and composed melodies. Add to these 2 originals a great line up of remixers, featuring Aaren Reale who took “Dead” into another dimension, A.G.Trio whose remix of “Sombra” is going to hypnotise you and make you go wild, as well as a dubstep take on “Sombra” by Skanek that adds a heavy bass touch to close this EP.
