Dizkodeath

Dizkodeath is an extremely talented artist to emerge from the German underground’s new generation. His first endeavours with music start at the age of 10, when he starts playing the guitar and drums. By the age of 16, piano had already been added to this music thirsty youngster’s skill set, until he eventually fell in love with electronic music at the age of 19. Inspired by artists such as Justice and The Bloody Beetroots and after having experimented with various subgenres of electro for a few years, it’s now time for Dizkodeath to bring together his love of hard electro bangers, catchy disco dance tracks, guitar driven electro punk with 80’s atmosphere and dark melodic sounds. The result, jaw dropping pure electro that will get you addicted and craving for more.

Dizkodeath’s debut official single release “Revolver” is a hard bass driven track that combines distorted heavy synths, orchestral stabs and an aggressive female vocal sample that makes it impossible to stop headbanging. That’s not all though, as “Revolver” comes with a b-side too, titled “E.N.D”. A slow starting key driven track that keeps growing with a synth arpeggio until it comes to its heavy, noisy bass conclusion.

“Wizard” is the 2nd single release from Dizkodeath’s “Raw” LP and is the perfect combination of grace and power. The fine line between groovy disco and dirty French electro. Q.G. and Soul Machine have also casted their own spells too by contributing 2 great remixes.

The 3rd single “Vendetta” of Dizkodeath’s LP “Raw” was out May 13, 2014. This time the charismatic artist from Germany has spiced his heavily distorted French Electro with some dark 80′s atmosphere. Full of rich synths and a hard electro edge, “Vendetta” comes reinforced with 3 remixes by M.A.D.E.S, Krftkds and Freak Slaughter. Old-school hard Electro with a “ravey” feel, “Vendetta” will please both the die-hard Electro fans of the pre-EDM era and all those searching for the next generation of talented artists to emerge from the underground. And Dizkodeath is definitely one of them.

Released on September 15, 2014, “Orchid” was the 4th and last single from Dizkodeath’s upcoming LP “Raw”. Melodies, strings, distortion and most of all inspiration, “Orchid” has it all. An impressive line-up of artists with two of dark synthwave’s evil geniuses Perturbator and Gost, as well as Frenchmen Christine contribute in making “Orchid” a colourful release of fragrant beauty.

“Raw” LP was written and produced during 2013 by Dizkodeath with additional production, mixing and mastering from Rubber Spanner with sessions taking place in both Germany and the UK. The 4 lead singles “Revolver”, “Wizard”, “Vendetta” and “Orchid” should give you a good idea but still only a fraction of what you can expect on “Raw”, which is one of the best hard electronic music albums to be released in 2014. Besides, it’s no coincidence the support and feedback for Dizkodeath’s singles has been so strong with Cyberpunkers, Midnight Conspiracy, F.O.O.L, You Killing Me, Christine and many more comparing him with SebastiAn and even Justice and describing him as one of the few artists to keep raw French Electro alive. Impressed? Just wait until you’ve listened to “Raw”!
