Laforcah

Laforcah means “The Gallows”, plus an extra useless H. It’s about big fat 130 or so bpm kick drums, filthy distorted basslines, overdriven saturation and rough vocal samples. Punk attitude, loud sounds, electro inferno! Laforcah started in Milan, Italy, in early 2012 by Carlame and Luca Pes. Carlame played drums for over 15 years in the Italian hardcore punk band Skruigners while Luca Pes comes from the Techno and Electro House world.

After a barrage of releases with 5 EPs and dozens of official collaborations and remixes for some heavyweights of the electro scene (Belzebass, Dubsidia, Skitsnygg, Autodidakt, Q.G., Hypomaniacs, Gor FLsh, Beatbender, Hijack Da Bass, Rubber Spanner, etc.) Laforcah have spent the last year performing live all over Italy. Having already shared stages with Far Too Loud and Belzebass among others, the duo is now preparing to launch their bass assault all over Europe with both new releases and earwrecking live performances so stay tuned and prepare to be blown away!”

Laforcah’s debut EP “Aileen” was released in November 2012 featuring the tracks “Aileen”, “The Point” and “Aileen (Dub Version)”, setting a very high standard for the Italian duo right from the start. It will blow you away!

“Not” EP takes Laforcah’s sound and style to the next level and it’s fair to say it is the musical evolution of this very talented up and coming Italian duo. Bigger, darker and louder than ever before, the big kick drums, filthy distorted basslines and rough vocals of Laforcah are back again to twist your brains and rape your souls.

“Distortion” was released on May 2014 and if you are still unaware of what to expect by the bass extremists Laforcah, the title should definitely give you a hint. After a series of live shows in Italy, France and Austria in early 2014, Laforcah hit the studio and return louder than ever. With their signature sound, dark themes, heavyweight bass and aggressive electro-punk attitude the duo appears ready to bulldoze its way to your eardrums once again.

Following the massive “Distortion” EP (#21 Top Electro House Releases), the Italian duo Laforcah continues its Electro Punk assault with their 4th official EP “Scars”. This time Laforcah have invited one of Italy’s most brutal front-men, Giulio “The Bastard” (of Grind Core band Cripple Bastards) to lend his voice on “Scars” making it undoubtedly one of the year’s most uncoventional Electro tracks. Dark, aggressive and loud, Laforcah do what they know how to do best in these 2 new originals, deliver raw bass mayhem. And in case you’re hungry for more check out the remixes too, featuring 2 of the underground trash-Electro scene’s heavy hitters with Your Ol’ Lady and Hantise both adding extra heaviness on the EP. This isn’t commercial EDM, this is proper dance-floor riot starter electronic music that will leave you ‘scarred’.

Laforcah’s fifth EP is finally here! After almost a year of wreaking havoc with their live shows and remixes the Italian Electro heavyweight duo is back. Following their high charting “Scars” EP, “Dirty” comes with four new angry and powerful originals which move between Electro House and Electronica. Packed with the rock’n’roll attitude and wild spirit we’ve come to know and love by Laforcah, the duo takes another swing on the current EDM trends and challenges the pop-aesthetics by staying loyal to their sound. Those of you familiar with Laforcah should know by now that when this duo gets “Dirty” it really means business!
